Product Costing Manager

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain accurate cost accounting systems and processes.
  • Ensure precise product costing, covering materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Oversee inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and standard costing.
  • Conduct cost analysis and profitability assessments for product lines.
  • Prepare cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for management.
  • Monitor cost variances and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and collaborate with departments on cost control.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support cost modeling and product pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and facilitate audit processes.
  • Lead and mentor the costing team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management
  • Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional project management
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English

Based in Samutprakarn

Working Day:  Monday - Friday (8.00 - 17.00)
