Serve as the HR lead for the Vietnam site, building HR operations, systems, and a local HR team from the ground up.
Collaborate with the BOD and HR HQ to align HR strategy with business priorities, covering organizational design, job architecture, training needs analysis, and compensation benchmarking.
Lead strategic and operational HR projects, supporting site development and business expansion.
Design and implement end-to-end HR policies and processes across recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, and offboarding.
Manage manpower planning and budgeting in coordination with site and HQ stakeholders.
Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and local HR practices.
Oversee work permit and visa applications for expatriate staff (Chinese/Taiwanese).
Act as a cross-cultural bridge between HQ and local teams, fostering communication, alignment, and cultural integration.
Drive local talent acquisition strategies, enhance employer branding, and build talent pipelines.
Champion employee experience and engagement initiatives to ensure a people-centric work environment.
Monitor HR policy implementation and provide insights to leadership on emerging people issues or risks.
Develop and execute annual HR work plans in alignment with site business goals.
Support cost-effective HR operations that meet quality and timeline expectations.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience (preferably in manufacturing), including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
HR certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor law compliance, especially in Vietnam.
Bilingual in Chinese and English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a plus.
Proven experience in HR operations, strategic planning, and change management.
Skilled in employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and talent development.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; confident engaging with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS and analytics is a plus.
Organized, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong cultural adaptability and team-building capabilities in cross-border settings.
