Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Retail Leasing (2-Year Contract)
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix at the mall
- Identify market trends, key insights and rethinking of marketing tools to lease out retail spaces
- Conduct market research of competitors and market benchmarks of rentals and occupancy costs
- Review and formulate marketing and leasing strategies for long-term sustainability
- Build and establish good tenant relationships and cultivate a strong network with prospects and partners.
- Manage key stakeholders and engage senior management on obtaining approvals for concepts, revenue budgets and sharing of any periodical updates.
- Prepare management reports and annual budgets, including review of rental rates for the client's portfolio of retail properties.
- Review rentals and occupancy periodically to implement appropriate marketing and renewal strategies to meet KPIs
- Tenants Management, including assisting the Credit Control team with arrears management to reduce company risk exposure.
Requirements
- Degree in Real Estate or equivalent
- Resourceful, energetic and confident individual with at least 6 years of retail leasing experience
- Effective interpersonal, negotiation, organisational and leadership skills
- Good contacts with retail players and agents
- Thrives under pressure
