Treasury Executive

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring daily Group cash balances and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborate with the Treasurer to manage short-term liquidity needs and optimize cash resources.
  • Prepare bank statement reconciliation and ensure accurate recording of bank balances.
  • Assist in oversee all Treasury activities, including cash management, investments, and debt management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of treasury transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Investment of excess funds.
  • Assist in preparing various treasury reports, including weekly and monthly cash position reports and liquidity forecasts.
  • Facilitate the preparation of Bank Guarantees applications to the Bank.
  • Prepare comprehensive bank schedule reports for auditing purposes and scheme management,
  • Prepare Bank schedule reports to auditor and scheme Manager.
  • Manage the registration of Bank users and maintain the token registers for the group.
  • Assist in opening and closing bank accounts, as well as managing signatories.
  • Ensure compliance with bank documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and serve as a primary point of contact.
  • Ensure compliance with internal DOA policies and Treasury Policy & Procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.

Requirements:

  • Diploma graduate with a few years of experience or bachelor degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience (2 years) in an administrative or finance support role, ideally within a treasury or financial environment.
  • A strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial software, MS Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with banking procedures, payment processing, and cash management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
