HR Manager

 Job Description:

The HR Manager will oversee and manage all human resource functions for the hospital, ensuring efficient operations, compliance with labor laws, and the development of a motivated and engaged workforce. This role involves the administration of HR policies, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Staffing:

    • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and hiring of staff for clinical and non-clinical positions.
    • Develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure the hospital is staffed with qualified personnel.
    • Oversee onboarding and induction programs for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
  2. Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, promoting open communication, and handling conflict resolution effectively.
    • Conduct employee engagement surveys and develop action plans to improve morale and retention.
    • Organize employee recognition programs and wellness initiatives to enhance job satisfaction.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Oversee the performance appraisal system and ensure that it is aligned with the hospitals goals.
    • Provide support and guidance to managers in setting performance objectives and conducting performance reviews.
    • Implement continuous development programs to improve employee performance.
  4. Compensation & Benefits:

    • Administer the hospitals compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, insurance, and retirement plans.
    • Conduct market analysis to ensure that compensation packages are competitive and equitable.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations regarding pay, benefits, and compensation practices.
  5. Training & Development:

    • Assess training needs and develop training programs that support the hospitals goals and improve employee skills.
    • Coordinate in-house and external training programs, including mandatory medical and healthcare compliance training.
    • Track training records and ensure all employees receive necessary professional development opportunities.
  6. Compliance & HR Policies:

    • Ensure that the hospitals HR practices are compliant with Thai labor laws and regulations.
    • Update and maintain the employee handbook, policies, and procedures to reflect legal changes and organizational needs.
    • Keep the hospitals management team informed of any legal developments and changes to employment law.
  7. HR Administration & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, benefits, and performance data.
    • Prepare and analyze HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and training activities.
    • Handle HR documentation such as contracts, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
  8. Employee Welfare & Health & Safety:

    • Monitor and ensure that the hospitals health and safety protocols are in place and adhered to.
    • Support and promote employee wellness programs and initiatives.
    • Address any concerns related to employee health, safety, and wellbeing.
  9. HR Strategy & Planning:

    • Work with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business goals of the hospital.
    • Participate in manpower planning, succession planning, and talent development to meet the hospitals long-term staffing needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
  • Proven ability to manage employee engagement and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Experience with HR software and systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
