Job Title: Commercial Operations Manager (Vietnam)

  1. Commercial Operations responsibilities:
    1. Partner Relationship Management:
      1. Cultivate long-term mutually beneficial relationships with a select group of partners by identifying opportunities and risks and follow-up plans,
      2. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between partners and internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory).
      3. Lead the negotiation of annual commercial agreements and business plans with partners including alignment on pricing strategies, and inventory policies.
      4. Monitor adherence to contractual obligations and proactively address any risks and opportunities.
      5. Proactively address partner needs and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and long-term partnership
    1. Sales Forecasting, Budgeting, and Performance Analysis:
      1. Lead the development and management of credible sales forecasts and commitment to all partners.
      2. Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance metrics (e.g., sales volume, market share, profitability) to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges with in-market sales and conversion as the primary measurement of success.
      3. Generate regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders and partners.
      4. Monitor progress against sales targets and proactively recommend strategies to improve performance.
    1. Sales Operations & Efficiency:
      1. Identify and implement strategies to optimize both direct and indirect sales and marketing activities through partners.
      2. Address and resolve technical issues impacting sales operations with partners.
      3. Ensure adherence to relevant compliance requirements in all B2B commercial activities.
      4. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track the health and performance of partnerships and identify areas requiring attention.
  2. Special Projects Management responsibilities:
    1. Project Execution and Management:
      1. Manage and monitor the M&A project plan, including timelines, milestones, budgets best fit business model, Objectives & KPIs, and resource allocation adhering to project management methodologies and best practices.
      2. Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, operations, and the target company
      3. Prepare regular status reports for senior management whenever required.
      4. Create and maintain detailed project timelines and expenditure, facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and action tracking
      5. Coordinate due diligence activities, ensuring all necessary financial, legal, and operational information is gathered and analyzed
  1. Integration:
    1. Based on a developed plan endorsed by the Country Manager, monitor progress and highlight gaps
    2. Facilitate communication and collaboration between the acquiring and acquired companies to ensure a smooth integration process
    3. Monitor and support post-merger integration activities, such as technology integration and workforce alignment
  1. Qualifications and Key Skills:
    1. Bachelors degree in business administration, Economics, Marketing, Pharmaceuticals or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
    2. Proven track record of 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales management, key account management, or partner management within the Vietnamese market.
    3. Strong understanding of sales forecasting methodologies, budgeting processes, and performance management frameworks, with a focus on in-market sales and conversion metrics.
    4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
    5. Proficiency in English is essential.
