Position: Trading Analyst (Crude Oil)

Industry: Commodity Trading

Location: Temasek Avenue

Salary Range: S$4,000 to S$6,000

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the daily activities of the trading desk, liaising with the traders

• Monitoring of trade exposures by providing analytical support

• Gather and compile market analysis & daily profitability reports from various sources

• Work with spreadsheets and maintain a report structure to monitor, follow-up on suitable buy & sell opportunities

• Responsible for interpreting data using statistical solution (e.g P&L, Value at Risk, Risk Exposure)

• Preparation of daily & monthly risk reports for management reporting and planning department

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics/Business Management and/or Mathematics

• Min 2 years of experience in similar capacity in a commodity trading house

• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

• Keen interest in understanding trading strategies and value drivers for trading business

• Able to demonstrate strong attention to details with strong numeracy

• Able to work in a fast pace environment, prioritize and meet deadlines

• Team player, able to provide cover for team members when required
