IT Infrastructure Manager
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute IT infrastructure strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Assess and maintain IT systems' scalability, reliability, and performance to support both current and future business needs.
- Plan and execute hardware and software updates to maintain optimal system efficiency.
- Oversee the management and upkeep of IT & OT network infrastructure, servers, databases, storage solutions, and cloud-based systems.
- Ensure regular system backups, software updates, and security patches are conducted.
- Monitor IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain system efficiency.
- Enforce and refine IT policies, operational standards, and best practices.
- Provide support for desktop and notebook computers.
- Lead and manage the operational support of on-premise and cloud-based servers and networking equipment across the organization.
- Implement robust IT security measures to safeguard systems from cyber threats.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards, such as GDPR and ISO/IEC 27001.
- Conduct risk evaluations and establish Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and Cybersecurity Incident Response Plans.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Assess, negotiate, and manage contracts for IT services and equipment procurement.
- Develop and monitor the IT infrastructure budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS) and virtualized environments.
- Manage data centers and server rooms to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Facilitate seamless integration between on-premise and cloud-based resources.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
- Strong expertise in network administration, server management, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.
- Certifications in Office 365, ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, AWS, Azure is a plus.
