Trade Analyst (No working experience required)
Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day pricing and set up rate guidelines and surcharges.
- Perform yield management to ensure maximum profitability.
- Gather and analyze market information to stay competitive.
- Review customers free time requests and manage other commercial-related matters.
- Prepare revenue and trade volume forecasts to support business planning.
- Work closely with overseas branches on all commercial initiatives and activities.
- Conduct feasibility studies on pricing strategies and trade services, contributing to business development efforts.
- Prepare monthly trade reports, including Container Business Performance Analysis and Contribution Margin performance reviews.
- Manage space allocation, ensuring optimal space utilization on vessels to maximize profit.
- Liaise with agents, internal, and external stakeholders on trade services, including service launches, service changes, and vessel locations.
- Maintain the Trade Services Catalogue and prepare lifting reports.
- Monitor space utilization for transshipment cargos and coordinate container stock management.
- Review agents performance in optimizing space utilization efficiency.
- Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor.
MUST HAVE:
- Degree in Business or equivalent with 1 year of experience, OR a Diploma with relevant experience in a large shipping firm.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous and assertive, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
