Events & Membership Executive (NPO)

 Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Head of Department to run the annual  Awards.
  • Assist the Head of Department in the planning, coordination and execution of administrative, operational and logistical tasks for both Awards.
  • Source and contact for prize sponsorship for the Speaking Awards and members events (if necessary).
  • General duties at Members Services department, including but not limited to:
  • Manage members communications including response to queries and complaints, as well as performance of service recoveries
  • Manage studio bookings
  • Manage Fitness & Dance courses, such as swimming classes and gym subscription
  • Manage revenue and payments with internal (other departments) and external (members, vendors, instructors, etc) clients
  • Manage NAV (Finance system) for membership, course and registration fees and payments
  • Develop and execute membership recruitment, retention & rewards campaigns
  • Promote and increase studio utilization and gym subscription
  • Plan, organise and facilitate programmes and activities for members
  • Develop marketing collaterals for monthly Members email blast
  • Send monthly membership renewals reminder and birthday emails to members
  • Source and collaborate with new partnering merchants to increase membership privileges, while retaining the current pool
  • Ensure on-going updates of SOP and Rules & Regulations related to membership, gym and swimming pool
  • Assist the Head of Department in the planning, coordination and execution of events
  • Track members involvement in volunteering

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum N or O Level qualification, preferably in Marketing or events management with at least 1 year of relevant experience in events or membership organization
  • Pleasant personality with good customer service
  • IT savvy; able to work on the cloud and familiar with MS Office suite and MailChimp, CRM
  • Good communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • A team player
  • Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Able to work on evenings and Saturdays for events
