Senior IT Operations Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Engineer to join our clients team. This role reports to the Technical Operations Manager and is responsible for delivering reliable Group IT services. The ideal candidate will manage daily IT operations, lead infrastructure improvements, and ensure continuous service enhancements that align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Service Delivery

Manage day-to-day IT operations and support services across systems, networks, and hardware.

Ensure operational excellence and user satisfaction through efficient IT resource management.

Perform root cause analysis and lead service improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and licenses.
2. Strategic Planning & Vendor Management

Work with leadership and IT teams to plan and implement initiatives aligned with company goals.

Advise on key infrastructure and IT operations strategies.

Manage IT projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Oversee vendor contracts and coordinate procurement of IT and telecommunication equipment.
3. Facilities & Coordination

Collaborate on office facilities coordination to maintain smooth physical operations.

Ensure maintenance and functionality of equipment and related infrastructure.
4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain up-to-date documentation and standard operating procedures.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies and IT governance standards.

Provide regular updates to management on progress, issues, and achievements.
Requirements
Education / Certification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, ITIL) are a plus.
Technical Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and support.

Proficient in managing hosting environments (AWS, Azure, hybrid).

Skilled in AD administration, Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, and identity management.

Experienced in disaster recovery, backup solutions, and physical server management.

Knowledgeable in firewalls, switching, routing, and network security.

Hands-on experience with PowerShell, virtualization, storage systems, and network configuration.
