Responsibilities:

• Well-rounded in commercial aspect, understand customers' requirements to ensure the product development meet customers' expectation.
• Lead projects with relevant business unit to meet the business goals and new product development.
• Improve existing and new products, determine and execute improved technologies to meet the project goals.
• Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment to meet the projects' expectation.
• Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Document all phases of research and development.
• Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Other Requirements:

• Obtained bachelor degree or higher in chemical engineering/ polymeric materials
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in R&D Leader position in flexible packaging industry
• Strong sense of creativity aids in the process of thinking of new product ideas.
• Knowledge in packaging, polymer, plastic materials, and R&D field.
• Technical competency (problem solving, project management & improvement, technical support)
• Good English skills
