Senior/ Logistics Executive
Job Description:
Job Title: Senior/ Logistics Executive
Location: Central Bangkok
Reporting To: Managing Director
Job Objective
Efficiently manage export operations, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Management
- Ensure all physical stock movements in/out of the warehouse are recorded accurately.
- Create GRN (Goods Receipt Notes) for incoming goods and returns.
- Manage incoming, local, and re-export delivery activities.
- Ensure compliance with Thailand customs regulations, including Tax/TISI license for FTZ clearance.
- Address damage, short/over shipment, missing items, or wrong labels (DSR process).
- Update weekly and monthly stock reports.
- Oversee daily warehousing and local delivery activities, coordinating with call centers, commercial teams, 3PL, and central logistics.
2. Direct Delivery Fulfillment / Order Processing (DD to Thailand Customers)
- Issue sales orders based on instructions from the Sales/OP team.
- Release shipping instructions to producers.
- Create invoices and credit/debit notes using SAP.
- Prepare complete shipping documentation and confirm payment receipt before releasing original documents.
- Enable material codes in SAP.
- Ensure compliance with Thailand import customs documentation for audits.
- Address DSR issues (damages, short/over shipments, missing/wrong labels).
3. Local Delivery from Thailand FTZ Warehouse
- Issue sales orders based on instructions from Sales/Customers.
- Release delivery instructions to 3PL.
- Ensure compliance with Thailand customs regulations for FTZ clearance.
- Optimize truck loads for cost efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Verify customer endorsements on delivery orders for audit purposes.
4. Re-export to SEA Region from Thailand Warehouse
- Arrange vessel bookings with carriers or shipping agents.
- Maximize container loads for cost efficiency and ensure timely shipments.
- Release shipping instructions to 3PL for trucking, stuffing, and traffic arrangements.
- Create invoices and credit/debit notes using SAP.
- Prepare full shipping documentation via inter-company processes.
Job Specifications and Competencies
- Degree or Higher in a related field.
- Strong logistics experience, preferably in import/export and Free trade zone activities in Thailand.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Familiarity with import, export, and local procedures, especially Thailand FTZ customs regulations.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective interpersonal skills to interact with teams, regional markets, and all levels of business.
- High commitment level and multicultural approach.
- Flexibility to work late during month-end periods.
- Willingness to travel overseas (e.g., Singapore) for training purposes.
