QA Lead (Manual 80%/ Automation 20%)

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Quality Strategy:
    • Quality at speed enhances delivery testing and optimizes resource costs, making scaling easier.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards by all team members
    • Monitor test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure alignment with business requirements (Include test management, test analytic, test goverment).
  • Foster a Quality-First Culture:
    • Advocate for a mindset where quality is everyones responsibility, not just QAs.
    • Lead by example, showing how attention to detail can make a difference for users.
    • Encourage open feedback and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Champion Automation:
    • Advocate for and lead the adoption of cutting-edge test automation tools.
    • Embed automation into the CI/CD pipeline to achieve faster, more reliable releases
    • Stay ahead of trends to introduce innovative solutions that enhance efficiency
  • Turn Metrics into Insights:
    • Track quality metrics like defect rates and test coverage to measure team success.
    • Use data to identify areas for improvement and ensure risks are managed proactively
    • Share progress, insights, and updates with DoE/PPM and Banks, keeping them informed and confident
  • Be a Mentor and Leader:
    • Inspire and support your QA team, helping them grow professionally and excel in their roles
    • Build a positive, collaborative team environment where quality is a shared priority
    • Provide meaningful feedback through regular performance reviews to help your team shine
  • Build Bridges Across Teams:
    • Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, product owners, and other QA teams to align on quality goals.
    • Focusing on guiding and driving the engineering team to improve overall product quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience and Skills:
    • Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role in a fast-paced digital banking or fintech environment.
    • Expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
    • Expertise and Strong knowledge on Shift-left testing and Agile testing methodologies
    • Familiarity knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in testing APIs, web services, and mobile applications.
    • Expert in test design and Test Management.
    • Family with testing Microservices, Event-Drivent, Serverless..
    • Solid understanding of security testing and performance testing best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, XRAY, Postman, or equivalent.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
    • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
