Our client is an independent global sourcing company specializing in apparel and accessories. Headquartered in Ohio, they have offices in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and the United States.

Position: Senior Merchandiser / Merchandiser (Sweater) Cambodia Team

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire process from development to bulk production.
• Collaborate with garment factories to negotiate the best pricing.
• Ensure seamless coordination with internal teams regarding development issues.
• Stay updated on market trends by monitoring suppliers and the production landscape.
• Work closely with both local and international technical teams to meet Brand requirements, including fit, yarn, color, wash, quality standards, and production techniques.
• Review tech packs and samples with the fit technician to ensure product specifications are met.
• Coordinate with the Yarn team to ensure timely submission of quality materials and approvals.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Provide clients with updated market insights related to styles, fabrics, delivery timelines, etc.
• Report on competitors' activities based on available market information.

Qualifications & Experience:

• College degree or equivalent experience in sweater apparel.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in apparel sourcing and production.
• In-depth technical knowledge of yarn and sweaters.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Proficient communication skills in both Business-level English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Merchandiser / Assistant Merchandiser.
