Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely movement of ocean freight to- and from specific locations within the service standards agreed with the Customer in compliance to country's requirement.
• Handle all Customer / Vendor facing communication and shipment related internal communication between/with Company stakeholders
• Provide customers with proactive exception management in case of service quality deviations including follow up and problem resolution
• Generate Invoice and verify cost accrual are for all shipment related charges within KPI timeline.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects related to business process improvement (Internal and External).
• Perform value-added task within the scope of the function to meet customer requirements and changes made in the operations process.
• Ensure all customs permit declaration are in compliance with Singapore Customs Regulations and Procedures.
• Create and manage ocean export documentation
• Ensure shipments are executed within timeline as per inhouse ISO procedure.
• Ensure that all accrued costs have corresponding revenues in TMS
• Ensure email communication with customer and external documents are uploaded Transport Management
• system
• Explore upsell opportunities with the Shipper (involve Sales Team - as applicable)

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec and above.
• Minimum 1-4 years of working experience in the sea freight industry (For Executive level)
• Knowledge of ocean freight, international trade and relevant laws, regulations, Supply Chain processes and procedures will be preferred
