We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Japanese Speaker) who is passionate to grow with a global leading consulting firm in the APAC region.
You will be an integral part of the project management team and help the management to liaise with related parties regarding Dispute resolution, Legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Support for the company across APAC.
- Office: Review service agreements and insurance policies.
- HR: Review employment contracts and employee insurance policies.
- The Group: Review Intercompany agreement, Director's resolutions.
- Liaise with related parties regarding Dispute resolution, Legal matters.
- PMO: Review contracts such as NDA, MSA, SOW, GTC, Proposal templates, other agreements between the company and customers, partners, freelancers, vendors.
- Develop specialized legal expertise in various areas of law, such as contract, corporate, and employment law.
- Hone contract drafting and negotiation skills to protect organizational interests.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of compliance and industry-specific regulations.
- Learn risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential legal issues.
- Enhance communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Counsel, preferably in the IT service industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Japanese Law or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Capability to handle confidential matters with professionalism.
- Positive attitude, passion, and determination, with a strong appreciation for teamwork.
