Position: Sales Engineer

Markets: Bangkok area to Residential & Regional, and Industrial & Commercial 

Job Description Summary

  • To achieve budgeted sales in company complete range of products through direct customers and specifier in own responsibility area of business category.
  • Gather and discuss information on market intelligence, Pricing, Competitor activity of both existing and new market including product desirability and opportunity, etc.
  • To offer a high level of full customer services and technical backup to all customers in his or her responsibility area.
  • Work closely with specify team & try to take benefit from specify work, act as an information source available to Contractors/ architect / consultant / owner / developer by maintaining a mix of communication channels to those group for prompt response to enquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Account Managers in managing account activities and processes.
  • Analyze and manage account renewal process.
  • Analyze and resolve client queries in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain client reports.
  • Review reports for accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage endorsement requests and change requests from customers.
  • Develop account management plan to meet business objectives.
  • Organize staff training for performance and skill development.
  • Ensure client deliverables are in accordance with company standards.
  • Review and manage fund transactions, payments, invoicing, remittance, etc.

Qualification and/or experienced required:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling projects or solutions, with a focus on specifiers, 
  • Background selling in construction or manufacturing products (sale of Pre-Engineering Building (PEB) products, Metal sheet for roofing and walling, Structural product Purlin and Decking products'
  • Proven track record converting leads to customers
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with stakeholders 
  • Creative in explaining and presenting product solution / product concept in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Construction business background would be advantage
  • Effective communication, selling and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated attitude and customer service orientation
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Sufficient knowledge in computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Possess technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in AutoCAD, CRM, Microsoft Office etc.
