Barista Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for customers
• Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages, sandwiches, and baked goods
• Accurately take orders and offer menu assistance
• Recommend products and upsell items
• Process payments (cash, card, mobile)
• Maintain equipment and report issues
• Track inventory and assist with restocking
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Provide feedback to management on new menu items

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of prior barista or retail food & beverage experience (no experience welcome if willing to learn)
• Positive, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Team player with attention to detail
• Flexible and punctual, able to work different shifts
• Familiarity with brewing equipment preferred
