IT Manager (Tai Seng, Marine, Infra, Security, Up to $7,500)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
IT Support and Infrastructure
- Manage, maintain, configure, and support IT infrastructure needs for the company and users for both shore and sea-based assets
- Manage user reports on hardware issues and provide solutions with appointed vendors
- Manage all incidents and solution implementation, ensuring timely completion and delivery to end users with appointed vendors
- Manage software installation and updates on company owned devices
- Manage connectivity issues for shore and sea-based assets with appointed vendors
- Manage new software installation and updates from user requests
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and user company owned devices
- Support users in providing access for guests and vendors
- Conduct routine checks and tests on all hardware and software, provide any required resolution for issues discovered with appointed vendors
- Manage, procure, repair, dispose, and sell off company IT assets with appointed vendors to meet company IT needs
- Manage, and administer company IT policies, documentation, and user guides
- Keep updated on the latest solutions and provide recommendations on improvements or upgrades required for the company
- Manage all hardware and software recovery responses with appointed vendors
- Work closely with Systems Manager to support users
Cyber Security
- Implement and manage all security software in the network and end-points with appointed vendors
- Create, implement, and manage cyber security policies across all information systems in the company with appointed vendors
- Create, implement, and manage monitoring policies and ensure that all notifications are attended to with appointed vendors
- Work with users to implement policies that continue to support their operations, and provide the security required to ensure integrity of the work done and data involved
- Conduct routine checks and tests to ensure that all known loopholes and vulnerabilities are detected and patched
- Conduct routine checks to discover and respond to security breaches and incidents
- Create, implement, and manage cyber security incident response framework with appointed vendor. This should be the basis for all incident responses to internal and external stakeholders during security breaches
- Provide routine reports on security notifications and breaches
- Provide routine updates and reminders on cyber security awareness and education materials to users
- Manage the reporting and recovery process of a security breach or incident with appointed vendor, within the timeframe defined in the framework
- Work with users and departments to ensure that any required cyber-security audits are attended to, completed, and passed
Data Management
- Work closely with the Data team to support the company with data policies across all systems deployed on shore and sea-based assets
- Support the Data team in implementing Data Governance and Management policies across all systems
- Support the Data team in enforcing Data Loss Prevention policies across all systems
- Work closely with the Data team and appointed vendors to ensure that data across all systems are protected, secured, backed up and regular checks are conducted
People Management
- Manage the IT Team Members work, schedule and training
- Support the CTO in the appraisals of IT Team Members work performance
- Guide and support the IT Team Members in day-to-day operations
- Work closely with other departments and support their day-to-day operations
Requirements:
- Experienced in managing M365 Business Suite, specifically services like Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Mail Exchange Servers, Security Policies, Defender, InTune, Sharepoint
- Experienced in managing and deploying desktops, laptops, and other work devices to offices and offshore locations
- Experienced in managing vendors to deliver support to users based on an agreed SLA
- Experienced in procuring, maintenance, on-site and off-site support, and sales of used equipment
- Good understanding of networking, network equipment, and cloud infrastructure
- Good understanding on managing of Windows based and Mac based devices
- Experienced in managing devices under MDM setup that is joined to a domain
- Experienced in setting up, managing and working with a vendor for security solutions
