Quality & Export Control Manager (Aircraft/ MRO)
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- To be the focal point for all questions related to Quality internally and externally.
- Responsibility for leading the organization in developing and maintaining a Quality Framework (Management System) which satisfies the requirements of AS9100, Aviation Authorities and all customer specific requirements.
- Regarding Management System (Quality referential)
- Assist operational teams of organization to know and apply their applicable Management System.
- Prepare and assist EN / ISO certification launched in 2022 for a certification in 2023.
- Establish the audit plan and coordinate audits with the support of Group interco Quality dept if needed.
- Prepare and answer the Customer evaluation questionnaires to include in the customers assessed suppliers base.
- Regarding regulations & approvals
- Support Field Support teams in their activity and ensure regulatory requirements are met during their operations especially for SB/AD implementation at Airlines.
Overall Export Control mission
- She/He is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all applicable export regulations national and international regulations concerning the exports of sensitive technologies, war materials, sanctions / embargoes, and the companys internal policies and processes.
- Evaluate the risks to implement and monitor the associated action plan
- Alert the Empowered Official (EO) and Export Control Officer (ECO) of any non-compliance, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Identify the classification of goods and technologies procured and/or produced
- Ensure the follow-up of product classification shown in the ERP
- Process and assist internal users in their requests for information, authorizations or export licenses from all authorities, whether national or not, allowing the export of goods
- Coordinate and lead the processes related to export control with other company's BUs
- Set up the archiving of documents related to the export control
- Raise awareness, train and communicate by inform and train conduct awareness sessions to the company's staff
- Communicate set up communications and forward relevant information to the companys staff
- Control the compliance of operations
- Control the Ensure compliance of exports with the terms and conditions of export authorizations and licenses granted by the authorities and with the company internal export control policies and processes
- Provide regular reports / indicators on the company's export control activities and issues
- Ensure that compliance commitments from and towards partners (customers, service providers, etc.) are signed and comply with the applicable regulations
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Ensure compliance with commitments and agreements related to export control made by the company with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, cooperators and competent national authorities.
- Monitor the application of all procedures, instructions and the Internal Compliance Program (ICP)
Trade Compliance Correspondent TCC
- By delegation of the company Trade Compliance Officer TCO, TCC makes sure that the Trade Compliance Program and organization are properly deployed in her/his Company or BU
- To sends monthly Items of Interest to the TCO, highlighting all tasks performed, and any other information of interest.
- To provides appropriate Trade Compliance information and assistance to the staff, and transfer to the TCO any specific advice request, as necessary;
- To makes sure to well deploy the trade compliance information / communication material.
- To lists all staff to receive a training on trade Compliance, whether through in-situ trainings or e-learning.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in the aerospace or related industry field.
- Experience in Audit for at least two years and Quality for about 5 years
- Good knowledge of EN / ISO norms
- Good knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations
- Good understanding and knowledge of Process management
