Business Development Manager
Job Description:
1. Business Development C Strategic Planning
- Accountable for developing and executing a strategic plan to significantly grow the business, delivering tangible and measurable outcomes in line with the company's overall objectives.
- Drive the business strategies towards growth and profitability, with complete PCL responsibilities.
- Develop sales team to meet challenging sales targets, and to monitor and drive the performance of the sales team.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and stay informed of the industry trends.
- Uphold a positive brand image and reputation.
- Demonstrate excellent skills at negotiating business deals including license deals, agreements, term sheets, and other business collaboration.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
2. Operation Excellence C Leadership
- Oversee research and development programs, pilot testing with different research institutes, represent Company to determine detailed product structures, product planning, development progress, production costs that aligns with the brand positioning.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Implement process improvements as necessary.
- Foster a positive, caring and teaming work environment, emphasizing safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Inspire, mentor, and guide the team to achieve their full potential.
Job Requirements: -
- More than 10 years of working experience in sales/business development experience in water/wastewater treatment or chemical industry, especially in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
- Possess initiative, drive and able to work independently and result-oriented.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards related to membrane technology and filtration processes. Ability to discern industry needs and trends, particularly in Pharmaceutical, Dairy and Chemicals industries.
- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across academia, institutional research, and industry.
- Team player with strong integrity and accountability mindset entrepreneurial-minded
- Willing and able to travel.
