Job Specifications

• Recognized Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• ITIL service delivery manager qualification
• MCSE + Security, Citrix or VMWare qualifications(desirable)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT with 3 years experience in leading IT teams in handling infrastructure support and Service Desk operations

Job Scope

• Assist to establish standard and best practices for managing internal infrastructure, including network, databases, access rights, desktop, platform systems, storages and servers.
• Provide consultation and guidance, and act as single point of contact for all matters relating to IT Operations and Service Desk management.
• Implement measures to protect the network, systems, and data and enforce IT Security policies.
• Perform capacity management - planning, maintaining, managing and optimising the infrastructure, including network, systems and databases, with efficient use of resources and ensuring that infrastructure is available and performing at peak performance.
• Assist in securing grants/funding for IT projects, and ensure timely completion of project, utilization of the approved grant/funding, and fulfillment of funding obligations.
• Ensure validity and adequacy of software licenses for the IT Infrastructure.
• Plan and carry out technology refresh and preventive maintenance to maintain service levels.
• Ensure IT Infrastructure projects are planned and managed within budget, timeline, and with quality.
• Be responsible for the procurement of IT Infrastructure and End-user Computing equipment and services, including firming up requirement scope and specifications, as well as organizing the evaluation of proposals.
• Provide leadership, supervision and technical support to both the Infrastructure team and the IT Support team.
• Manage IT Infrastructure vendors and project/maintenance service contracts, and liaise with service providers on service quality, feedback, and improvements.
• Manage overall Organization IT assets inventory including proper tracking and disposal.
• Responsible for infrastructure roadmaps and disaster recovery services to mitigate future service interruptions
• Contribute and provide support in the Infrastructure area towards digitization and digitalization efforts of the Organization.
• Develop, implement and maintain work processes, standards and documentation to achieve efficiency and sustainability in the IT Infrastructure, Support and Service Desk services based on ITIL methodology.
• Any other IT duties as assigned
