Administrative Assistant (Inpatient Operations Bed Management) - 5 months

 Job Description:

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Social Work or equivalent, preferably with 1-2 years experience in a hospital environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SAP and/or EPIC.

Job Summary:

  • Perform bed management and allocation.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external referral sources to right-site patients in an expedient manner.
  • Provide administrative support for Inpatient referral screening process.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Attend to enquiries regarding Inpatient referrals and Hospital admissions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to processing of Inpatient referrals.
  • Liaise and coordinate replies with Inpatient referral sources on outcomes of screening.
  • Submit bed statistics to the respective stakeholders daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Schedule:

  • Monday Thursday: 0830 to 1745hrs
  • Friday : 0830 to 1730hrs
  • Saturday: 0830 to 1230hrs (once per month)
