Assistant Manager, IT (Applications)
Job Description:
Job Description Summary:
The Assistant Manager, IT (Applications) plays a key role in supporting the successful operation of our IT applications Leasing Management System, Argus for budgeting, CRM, ePOS, Autodesk Construction Cloud. This position is responsible for managing the deployment, maintenance, and user support of various applications and systems. You will work closely with the IT Manager and other team members to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
Application Management:
- Assist with the planning, deployment, and configuration of new IT applications.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and updates for existing applications.
- Monitor application performance and identify potential issues.
- Document application functionality and procedures.
- Able to handle interfaces from non-SAP real estate system(s) to SAP modules
User Support:
- Provide first-line support to users for application-related issues.
- Troubleshoot application problems and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager as needed.
- Respond to user inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Document user support interactions and track resolutions.
Project Management:
- Assist with the planning and execution of small to medium-sized IT projects related to applications.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Track project progress and report on results to the IT Manager.
- Ensure project deliverables meet user requirements and business objectives.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the IT Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Attend regular meetings and participate in discussions.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
Skills
- T-SQL, RPA and Workato
Other:
- Assist with other IT tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT applications management, user support, or project management.
- Strong understanding of real estate and financial terms.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Have experience played project roles of project manager, business analyst & solution architect
- Excellent project & vendor management skills and experience
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP, CITPM or equivalent) is a plus
