Technical Project Manager
Job Description:
As a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER, you are expected to work closely with our consortium partners (local and overseas) for a mid-to-large scale RFP software project. He/she will not be working alone but collectively with consortium's team members such as business analysts, functional analysts, software architect and developers. Your responsibilities and duties:
- Work and liaise with the consortium's Project Manager/ Leader to co-drive and co-manage the implementation of mid-to-large-scale Software implementations and/or Changes for the eldercare (also known as Intermediate and Long Term Care) sector;
- Work with government agencies, partners, system integrators, consultants, contractors, and service providers to ensure project success.
- Liaise with business owners, stakeholders, IT staff and end-users (nurses, clinicians, assessor, etc.) and external partners/ vendors on project related matters such as schedule, resource, change request, quality, user acceptance testing, change management, deployment, onboarding, training etc.
- Drive and maintain project administration and documentation to keep track and ensure timely delivery of targeted milestones.
- Champion business process study (bluesky/blueprint, realisation, current & future state mapping), functional and business analysis to create proof-of-concepts, innovations and solutions.
- Chance to participate in pre-sales activities (opportunistically) such as RFP/ tender, product demonstration, driving blueSky/ visioning workshop, scoping, etc.
- Mentorship, guidance, and professional training will be provided.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in any fields, preferably IT or related discipline
- At least 5 years of related experience implementing web application an/or enterprise system/ software or solution (preferably in the capacity of Project Manager, Project Executive, Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Integration Manager, etc.);
- Good technical background with experience in web application, database, infra, security, etc. and be comfortable with technical projects;
- Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, ITIL, etc. will be a plus but not a pre-requisite;
- Candidates who enjoy managing/ organising complex tasks and working with clients;
- Prior experience in managing or supporting mid-to-large scale government or quasi government IT projects will be an added advantage
- Candidates should be versatile and independent in picking up concepts, and possess strong logical and analytical problem solving skills;
- Good communication and enjoy interacting with customers/end-users (including doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals);
- Hardworking and with good work ethics,
- Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills;
