Customer Support Engineer (Marine Industry)

 Job Description:

  • Candidate without any working experience can be considered
  • Salary: $3000 - $4000

Responsibilities

  • Stay-by onsite deployment based on Customer requests
  • Adhere to service requests on date & time, location, scope of work and any other instructions
  • Install, commission, service navigational bridge equipment (Glonass, ECDIS, Radar, Sensors)
  • Troubleshoot and inspect findings to determine source of problem, rectify or replace with Customers' agreement
  • Escalate any issue beyond the service scope to responsible CS team/management
  • Ensure Customer is briefed on worked performed and service report is prepared and signed off by Customer
  • Ensure service work rendered complies with internal Service & Support processes
  • Ensure compliance to Code of Business Conduct and Quality Management system requirements
  • Support projects or other technical jobs required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years working with marine Navigational and IT equipment
  • Minimum diploma in electrical engineering or other relevant technical education / qualifications with relevant experience
  • IT/Networking experience or qualification
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel on short notice
  • Able to work under tight timelines
  • Able to work independently
  • Highly-effective technical communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during the work execution
