Service Engineer

 Job Description:

Position: Service Engineer 

Direct report to: Service Manager 

Key Responsibilities

  • Familiar with principles of dealing with majority of company products (e.g. Thermoforming, Tray sealer, etc.)
  • Provide timely installation, repair and troubleshooting service of general mechanical, electronic and operational aspects of company machines and other 3rd party equipment
  • Carry out preventative maintenance at customer sites as per service contract requirements and other 3rd party equipment
  • Response timely to customers request by effectively listening and answering their enquiries accurately with straight-forward communication style
  • Report customers feedback to superior with accurate information
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities by understanding customers' needs and forward internally to other departments, e.g. sales team.
  • Prepare working reports for use within the company or for the customer e.g. service and audit reports.
  • Assist the sales staff in equipment presentations and technical enquires when necessary
  • Participate in technical training and meetings as required to ensure skills are in date and appropriate.
  • Handles other tasks that may be assigned by Management as the need arises.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics engineering or electrical engineering
  • At least 2 years' experience in machinery service roles in the food and or medical.
  • Age not over 35 years old
  • packaging/manufacturing industries with ability to read electrical drawings
  • TOEIC score at least 450 scores or to achieve this score within 1 year of work.
  • Preferable related in food/consumer packaging equipment experience including thermoforming, Tray sealer, Chamber machines and MR labelling equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • A clear thinker with the ability to fault find under pressure.
  • Self- driven, organized, structured, technically versed and proactive personality.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications with the advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Thailand and internationally intensively.
