Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Security Integration: Integrate security practices and controls into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Automation and Tooling: Develop and maintain automated security testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability scanning within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Security Architecture: Design and implement secure infrastructure, including cloud environments, containerisation, and microservices, with a focus on security best practices.
• Threat Detection and Response: Implement and maintain security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection systems to identify and respond to security incidents.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment of security requirements, secure coding practices, and compliance with security standards.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to security, privacy, and data protection.
• Education and Advocacy: Educate and advocate for security awareness and best practices across the organisation, promoting a culture of security and shared responsibility.
