Position: Ship Repair Manager (Offshore Vessels)

Salary Range: Up to S$8,000

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible of all ship repair matters (organize repair work, reviewing costs and reports)
• Maintain constant communication with ship owners on all aspects of repair work, modifications, and conversions
• Ensure proper documentation and order of owner list repair work, after which signed by ship owners
• Proper planning of repair works to be organized and time efficient
• Planning of vessels in/out of dry dock by production schedule, work flow, coordination of contractor and work completion.
• Proper documentation of all work sequence
• Conduct production meetings and VSCC
• Ensure proper utilization and completion of forms and documents

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Marine or related qualifications
• Min 15 years of experience in similar capacity, shipyard repair
• Safety Instruction Course for Ship-Repair Manager Cert is a must
• Risk Assessment Cert
• Have good knowledge in ship repair, modification and fabrication works
• Ability to delegate jobs accordingly, with good leadership and management skills
• Resourceful and able to handle different situation accordingly
