Purpose: 

The role is responsible for Warehouse/Stock Management/SMA/Customer service operations in the branch.
Leads the branch commercial activities, operations and customer services
Manage a small team of 4-8 headcounts
Provides strategic planning and direction for all aspects of the operations including resource planning, capital
expenditures, budget planning.
Provide management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
You will be involved in the management of payroll functions and ensure compliance with government
regulations.
Vendor/Contractor management.
Development and coaching of team members.

Responsibilities: 

Work with South East Asia commercial team on Key account management (maintain and increase sales to
existing customers) & Business development (hunting for new customers from referral, cold call and
acquisition of new customers by attending conferences related to targeted products and services.
All job orders are planned and completed within time frame, minimal service issues and according to standard
operating procedures.
Execute major business process improvement projects and ensure all stakeholders are engaged and outcomes
are delivered as per plan.
Manages operations contracts and rates reviews.
Works closely with strategic suppliers/vendors to drive operations efficiencies and costs optimization.
Manages warehouse space planning/optimization.
Executes all contractual obligations with minimal exposure to claims/detention and demurrage charges.
Ensure relevant statistics, results and performance are reported regularly and in a meaningful manner for
management interpretation and decision making.
Provides regular updates/communications to relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for adhering to all regulatory compliance, audit planning and execution, and closure of Corrective
and Preventive Actions (CPAs).
Participate in customer reviews, events, bid and tender opportunities.
Keep abreast of customers industry and market developments and trends to inspire the development of new
organizational capabilities and business opportunities.
Maintains work processes in accordance with Safety and Health procedures

Requirements: 

- Bachelors Degree in Business administration, logistics management, logistic engineering. Master degree is a plus
- Minimum 10-15 years of total working experience with experience in
Manufacturing/Logistics/Warehouse Management/Process Management
- Advance Microsoft offices especially microsoft excel skills
- Experiences with ERP Oracle
- Background in logistics operations/freight forwarding
- Good understanding of break bulk/container loading/unloading/warehouse management
- Experience in LEAN/KAIZEN/Quality systems
- Good communication skills. Able to read and write fluently in English
- Strong communication in English, Vietnamese and Mandarin (is a plus). 

-Possesses own transport and willing to travel as and when required
- Good knowledge in Logistics/Warehousing and Shipping is preferred
