SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR- Civil
Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
- To prepare documents and submissions for tendering new projects or packages.
- study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities;
- To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Clients representative on claims and variation costs;
- Coordinate with scheduling specialist on time impact of all variations.
- Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive at the tender pricing;
- To review and verify the Subcontractors / Suppliers claims and prepare payment certificates
- To attend site meeting and progress claim meeting;
- Upon completion of each project/package, to monitor the respective project during the defects liability period;
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications
- Preferably at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Civil Engineering; working in industrial building construction is a plus
- Preferably working with an A1 main contractor.
- Reliable with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good technical and contractual knowledge with high integrity and work ethic
- An independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set time & expectations.
