Business Development Manager
Job Description:
Role Objective
To lead market entry and expansion in Singapore by securing high-volume contracts with enterprise clients (B2B) and premium retail channels. Focus on building corporate-level relationships, executing a volume-driven sales strategy, and developing a strong distribution network for sustained revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development
- Identify and target high-potential B2B clients (e.g., multinational corporations, luxury hotels, airlines, fine-dining restaurants, event planners) for bulk supply contracts.
- Develop and implement a volume-driven sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets and market penetration.
- Negotiate long-term contracts with enterprise clients, emphasizing premium quality and sustainability advantages.
2. Corporate Relationship Building
- Establish and nurture C-suite/decision-maker relationships at corporate headquarters to secure national or regional supply agreements.
- Position the company as a strategic partner for corporate wellness, ESG initiatives, and premium hospitality collaborations.
3. Distribution Network Development
- Build and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and premium retail chains (e.g., supermarkets, specialty grocers) to expand market reach.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners to enhance product availability and visibility.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to refine business positioning and growth strategy.
- Provide insights for product adaptation (e.g., packaging, branding) to align with local demand.
5. Revenue Growth & Reporting
- Deliver against quarterly/annual sales targets with a focus on high-margin volume contracts.
- Track KPIs (e.g., new accounts, revenue growth, market share) and report progress to leadership.
