Human Resources Manager

Subordinates: 5 HR team and 3 security guards.

Direct reports to Managing Director Asia Pacific and functionally to the Factory Manager (France)

Location: 304 industrial Srimahaphot, Prachinburi Thailand

Position Overview:

  • Monitor the organizations salary structure and benefits to ensure a balance between cost control and the attraction and retention of staff.
  • Manage and oversee all functions of human resources in compliance with Thai labor law, including recruitment and selection, employee onboarding and retirement, training and development, welfare, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, disciplinary actions, rewards and recognition, payroll, and HR administration (employee database, records management, document filing, HR policies, procedures, corporate agreements, and reporting).
  • Work closely with the Corporate Factory Manager and HR Group (France) to manage, implement, and ensure compliance with corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development, manpower planning, HR budgets, HRM strategy, policies, and procedures aligned with business strategies and corporate direction.
  • Responsible for overall office administration.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Establish and administer recruitment and selection programs to ensure adequate manpower for current and future needs.
  • Manage and oversee recruitment, selection, employment, and retirement of employees.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations to enhance motivation and engagement, monitor effective HR communications, and ensure employee morale is maintained to foster positive corporate labor relations in compliance with corporate standards.
  • Organize and oversee corporate activities to support employee engagement.
  • Advise and consult with staff and management to resolve employee relation issues systematically, recommending appropriate solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage salary and welfare structures, including setting standards for salary scales, welfare, job descriptions, and evaluations.
  • Monitor and review salary levels, benefits, and allowances to ensure competitiveness with the market.
  • Oversee payroll systems and reporting, including Social Security Fund, Workmens Compensation Fund, and personal income tax.
  • Monitor employee attendance, salary administration, and fringe benefits.
  • Distribute and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Thai labor laws, Social Security Fund, and Workmens Compensation Fund requirements.
  • Prepare and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports.

Training & Development

  • Oversee all training and development initiatives, including career development, competency management, gap analysis, individual development programs, career paths, and succession planning.
  • Manage corporate and staff competency frameworks, conduct competency gap analyses, and design models to support corporate development.
  • Control and monitor training programs (individual, annual, and roadmaps) based on identified needs and competency analyses.

General Affairs / Administration

  • Manage storeroom inventory, including stationery, office equipment, uniforms, and supplies. Oversee allocation and maintenance of office equipment for departments.
  • Inspect and monitor security services (3 guards).
  • Handle other administrative tasks as required by the company.

Safety & Environment

  • Monitor external contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Factory Manager, HR Manager, and Safety Group (France).
  • This position reports to the APAC Managing Director and functionally to the Factory Manager (France)

Qualifications.

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work at 304 Industrial Park, Srimahaphot, Tha Tum, Prachinburi.
  • Ability to travel to the Bangkok office at least once per month, as required by the company.
