Electrical Design Engineer

 Job Description:

Design Electrical systems and equipment

  • Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, control panels, and automation hardware based on project specifications.
  • Create and revise electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using EPLAN.
  • Select appropriate components (e.g., circuit breakers, contactors, sensors, VFDs, PLCs) based on technical and cost considerations.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including BOMs, layout drawings, and cable schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, UL, AS/NZS) and internal engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, project) during design reviews and implementation.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external clients, including production assembly, internal start-up, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Support the purchasing team with technical evaluations and by sourcing new suppliers.
  • Contribute to safety compliance by integrating proper design standards and practices.
  • Manage electrical spare parts for repair, replacement, and upgrades to ensure proper usage.
  • Report design status and progress to engineering leads.

Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing and service teams

  • Review and approve manufacturing work
  • Collaborate in the preparation of technical documents
  • Analyze the problems encountered by customers and make recommendations
  • Solve technical problems at customers' site
  • Evaluate the costs and deadlines relative to the design of the specifications requested by customers

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (GPA 2.5)
  • Age between 28-32 years old, Thai Nationality
  • 3-5 years of experience in Electrical design, preferably in industrial machinery, automation, or equipment manufacturing 
  • Experience electrical, and control engineering to design and develop intelligent systems and products.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, sensors, relays, PLCs and VFDs.
  • Good knowledge in auto CAD, PLC and siemens will be advantage
