Job Summary

The Senior Odoo Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo ERP applications and integrations. The role will translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions while collaborating closely with techno-functional consultants, project managers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules using Python and the Odoo ORM.
• Develop and customize Odoo models, relational fields, computed fields, validations, and business logic.
• Customize Odoo views, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces using XML, QWeb, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and OWL.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party systems, including e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, logistics providers, and e-invoicing systems.
• Build and maintain REST, JSON-RPC, and XML-RPC integrations while ensuring secure authentication and reliable data exchange.
• Develop data migration and ETL solutions for transferring and reconciling data from legacy ERP systems.
• Support Odoo deployments across Odoo.sh, Docker, and Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Work with Git-based development and CI/CD processes, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and database performance, including PostgreSQL queries and Odoo server performance.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and production incidents while ensuring system stability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, QA teams, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on Odoo development best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, module architecture, development standards, and engineering processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.
• Strong experience with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
• Proven experience developing and delivering Odoo modules across areas such as Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, Manufacturing, and CRM.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and OWL.
• Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, security rules, access rights, recordsets, caching, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo.sh, Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, and Git-based CI/CD environments.
• Experience developing secure REST and RPC integrations with third-party systems and payment platforms.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and ERP data reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data integrity and system performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Odoo certification is highly preferred.
