NOK Human Capital is hiring on behalf of a leading oilfield services company providing integrated solutions to the oil & gas industry across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.

Job Summary:

The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across the company's field operations. The role will ensure compliance with company HSE policies, applicable local and international regulations, client requirements, and oil & gas industry best practices.

The HSE Officer will work closely with field and operational teams to identify and control risks, promote safe working practices, support incident prevention, and contribute to a strong and proactive safety culture across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across field operations.

- Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments to identify and control hazards.

- Ensure proper implementation of JSA, Risk Assessments, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, inductions, and HSE awareness activities.

- Investigate incidents and near misses and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices across field activities.

Support emergency preparedness, drills, and response procedures.

- Maintain accurate HSE reports, records, inspections, and documentation.

- Monitor HSE performance and report key findings and recommendations to the HSE Manager.

- Coordinate with field and operational teams to ensure HSE requirements are effectively implemented.

- Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture across field operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized university.

Relevant HSE certifications are preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent).

- 4–5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in an oil & gas, energy, or other field-based industrial environment.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

- Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness and ability to work in field locations.

- Strong knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessment, incident investigation, and workplace safety.

- Willingness to work on a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation.
