Senior Field Service & After-Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Matik Industrial Solutions is seeking a Field Service & After-Sales Engineer to install, commission, and maintain industrial equipment at customer sites across Egypt. The role combines hands-on technical service with troubleshooting, spare parts coordination, and customer support. It also offers training opportunities with partner manufacturers in Europe.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain packaging machines, including flow pack machines, vertical packaging machines, thermoformers, and tray sealers.
• Service weighing equipment, including multihead weighers, linear scales, and smart scales.
• Service inspection systems, including metal detectors and X-ray equipment.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues to reduce customer downtime.
• Provide customers with training on machine operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate spare parts orders and stock to support timely service.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate technical records.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Work with the sales and service teams to improve customer support.
• Follow safety and quality standards during all service activities.

Key Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience servicing industrial machinery is required.
• Experience with packaging equipment is preferred.
• Experience in after-sales support or spare parts handling is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required; Spanish or German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Egypt and abroad for training or service.
• Knowledge of flow pack machines, vertical packaging machines, multihead weighers, metal detectors, or X-ray inspection systems is a strong advantage.

Certifications

• No specific certification required. A valid Schengen visa is an advantage.
