Master Data Management Specialist

Job Summary

Our client is a leading company in the Manufacturing industry based in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt, with established operations in the Egyptian market. They are seeking a Master Data Management Specialist to create, maintain, validate, and govern organizational master data while ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and integrity across ERP systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, update, and validate master data within the ERP system.
• Manage material, item, customer, vendor, product, pricing, and Bills of Materials master data.
• Review and verify master data creation and modification requests before implementation.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across organizational systems.
• Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate master data records.
• Maintain data classifications, coding structures, and naming conventions according to company standards.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Planning, Sales, Finance, and IT teams.
• Support new product launches by creating the required master data records and system configurations.
• Perform periodic data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Generate reports regarding master data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Support ERP implementation, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements related to master data.
• Maintain proper documentation for master data requests, changes, and approvals.

Key Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in master data management or an equivalent role.
• Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience managing different types of master data within an ERP environment.

Skills

• Good knowledge of ERP systems and master data management processes.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, validation, and cleansing principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain data classification and coding standards.
• Strong documentation and record-management skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve data-related operational issues.
