We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Architect with extensive experience in leading the design and development of complex automotive head units using Linux, Android, or QNX operating systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of embedded systems architecture, virtualization technologies, and automotive engineering concepts.
Job Description:
Provide technical leadership and guidance in the design and architecture of highly complex automotive head units.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system and component architecture, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
Communicate complex concepts effectively to geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders.
Drive the adoption of virtualization technologies and hypervisors to optimize system performance and resource utilization.
Design and implement software solutions for automotive head units, integrating ADAS sensor technologies and relevant actuators.
Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and security mechanisms in software design and development.
Stay updated on state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and optimization techniques to enhance system capabilities.
Lead low-level operating system functionality, including memory/resource management, scheduling, and process control.
Track and monitor project deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to specifications
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or related field.
9-18 years of experience in embedded software development, with expertise in C/C++, Java, and Linux.
Experience designing complex automotive head units using Linux, Android, or QNX operating systems.
Familiarity with ADAS sensor technologies (e.g., LiDAR, Radar, Video) and relevant actuators.
Understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and security mechanisms in automotive software development.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Proficiency in Linux kernel development, Android Framework, and Android Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and drive project deliverables.
Experience in automotive engineering concepts and software architecture is preferred.
