Job Summary

The Business Performance Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, analyzing financial and business performance, and providing actionable insights to support management decision-making. The role combines strong BI and Power BI capabilities with financial and business analysis, focusing on KPIs, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility into business and financial performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports.
• Analyze financial and business performance and identify key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Analyze P&L, budgets, forecasts, sales, profit margins, inventory, and business KPIs.
• Perform variance analysis and assess performance against budgets, forecasts, and business targets.
• Develop management and executive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with different departments to identify KPIs, reporting requirements, and business performance needs.
• Automate manual reporting processes and reduce dependency on Excel-based reporting.
• Translate business and financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations for management.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, dashboards, and performance measurement tools.

Key Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
• Proven hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Practical experience in financial and business performance analysis.
• Experience with KPI reporting and management reporting.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Power BI.
• Good knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good understanding of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SQL and ERP experience are considered a plus.

Key Competency

The ideal candidate should combine strong Power BI/Business Intelligence capabilities with solid financial and business analysis experience. This role is not focused solely on Power BI development; it requires the ability to understand business performance, analyze financial data, and provide meaningful insights to management.
