Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Consultation & Diagnosis
- Conduct comprehensive medical consultations for patients experiencing hair loss and scalp disorders.
- Diagnose the causes of hair loss and recommend suitable treatment plans.
- Evaluate patients' medical history and determine eligibility for hair transplant procedures.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and post-procedure care.
2. Hair Transplant Procedures
- Perform hair transplant procedures using:
- FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
- DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)
- Sapphire FUE
- Design natural hairlines based on facial proportions and patient expectations.
- Ensure adherence to international clinical standards and safety protocols during procedures.
3. Aesthetic Treatments
- Perform PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatments for hair restoration.
- Recommend and oversee non-surgical hair restoration therapies when appropriate.
- Assess patients for additional aesthetic procedures related to hair restoration.
4. Post-Operative Care
- Monitor patients during recovery.
- Conduct follow-up consultations and evaluate treatment outcomes.
- Manage post-operative complications when necessary.
- Provide detailed post-procedure instructions and ongoing medical support.
5. Medical Documentation
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
- Document treatment plans, surgical notes, and follow-up outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and patient confidentiality.
6. Quality & Compliance
- Follow all clinical policies, infection control protocols, and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with nurses, technicians, and the clinical support team.
- Supervise and guide medical staff during hair transplant procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- MBBS / MBBCh degree from a recognized university.
- Medical license from the relevant health authority.
- SCFHS license (preferred, if applicable).
- Board certification or postgraduate qualification (MD or equivalent) is an advantage.
- ISHRS membership or certification is considered a strong advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Hair Transplant and Aesthetic Medicine.
- Proven experience performing FUE, DHI, and Sapphire hair transplant procedures.
- Experience with PRP and other regenerative hair treatments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
