Job Summary

Our client is a leading global company in the Technology and E-commerce industry. They are seeking a highly experienced PMO Project Manager and Business Analyst to support the GES PMO function.

The successful candidate will support project planning, scoping, and execution while maintaining accurate project timelines and resource allocation data. The role will provide leadership with clear visibility into complex situations, enabling informed decisions where trade-offs may have a significant opportunity cost.

This position requires strong agility, analytical thinking, and communication skills to ensure projects are executed consistently and efficiently in accordance with the organization's governance and project management frameworks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain the PMO project database and ensure information is accurate and up to date for weekly and bi-weekly reporting.
  • Support project managers with Level 0 project planning, scoping, and execution.
  • Monitor project timelines and provide timely updates across the relevant systems and databases.
  • Support leadership communication strategies and prepare decision and direction papers.
  • Provide leadership with visibility into project risks, challenges, dependencies, and high-impact trade-offs.
  • Guide project teams through the end-to-end project management process.
  • Maintain the resource allocation and bandwidth-tracking tools.
  • Manage Laminar tagging and run queries to support dashboard development and specific reporting requirements.
  • Support the annual operational planning intake, review, and consolidation process.
  • Use project data and performance metrics to identify and drive process improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve alignment on complex matters.
  • Ensure projects comply with the organization's governance and project management methodologies.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and sustainable project outcomes.

Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, project control, business analysis, or PMO functions.
  • Strong experience managing programs or projects from strategy through end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven experience using data and performance metrics to identify and drive improvements.
  • Experience communicating project results, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across different organizational levels.
  • Experience developing or improving project management processes and reporting frameworks.

  • Strong project planning, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and business analysis skills.
  • Strong resource allocation and capacity-planning skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear leadership communications, decision papers, and direction documents.

  • Proficiency in Tableau and SQL is preferred.

Certifications

  • Project management or business analysis certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PBA, or CBAP, are considered an advantage.
