HR Generalist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to oversee and support the day-to-day HR operations across all HR functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, training, HR administration, and compliance, ensuring smooth HR processes while fostering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
Maintain recruitment records and candidate databases.

Onboarding & Offboarding
Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
Prepare employment contracts and required HR documentation.
Manage resignation, termination, and exit interview processes.

Employee Relations
Address employee inquiries and resolve workplace issues.
Support disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
Promote employee engagement initiatives and a positive work environment.

Performance Management
Assist in implementing performance appraisal processes.
Monitor employee performance review cycles.
Support managers in setting performance objectives and development plans.

Learning & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training programs.
Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

Compensation & Benefits
Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave balances, and overtime.
Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries.
Ensure payroll data accuracy before processing.

HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Prepare HR reports and maintain documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labour laws.

HR Policies & Compliance
Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labour regulations and internal policies.
Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of all HR functions and employment laws.
Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills
Experience handling the full employee lifecycle.
Knowledge of payroll and attendance systems.
Strong conflict resolution and employee relations skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
