Job Description:
System Administrator Intern
NOK Human Capital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic System Administrator Intern to join our IT team. The intern will support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company's IT systems, devices, networks, and user accounts while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees for basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with creating, managing, and maintaining user accounts and access permissions.
- Support the installation, configuration, and updating of operating systems and business applications.
- Monitor the performance and availability of company systems and networks.
- Assist with troubleshooting network, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, devices, and assigned assets.
- Support routine system updates, software installations, and basic IT maintenance activities.
- Assist with data backup procedures and basic information security practices.
- Document common technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members when required.
- Follow IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
Requirements
- Current student, fresh graduate, or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addresses, LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Windows Server is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies and IT systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English.
