System Administrator Intern

NOK Human Capital is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic System Administrator Intern to join our IT team. The intern will support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the company's IT systems, devices, networks, and user accounts while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Provide first-level technical support to employees for basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with creating, managing, and maintaining user accounts and access permissions.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and updating of operating systems and business applications.
  • Monitor the performance and availability of company systems and networks.
  • Assist with troubleshooting network, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, devices, and assigned assets.
  • Support routine system updates, software installations, and basic IT maintenance activities.
  • Assist with data backup procedures and basic information security practices.
  • Document common technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT team members when required.
  • Follow IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.

Requirements

  • Current student, fresh graduate, or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addresses, LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Windows Server is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and IT systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English.
