Overview: 

A freelance Recruiter is a professional responsible for finding potential talents for the company. Recruiters source and reach out to talents and ensure they're a good fit for the company. In addition, they can help potential employees negotiate and follow up after being hired to ensure a proper match between talents and projects, and that new hires are adhering to quality and performance standards. We are willing to pay per hour for this freelance opportunity.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in a language-related field or industrial/operational psychology

  • Strong organizational, time management, English communication, and English writing skills

  • Takes initiative in developing and implementing efficient, creative solutions

  • Commitment to professional customer service

  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills

  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite; understanding of CAT tools preferred

  • Strong computer skills

  • Language industry experience

  • Preferred proficiency in a second language


Responsibilities:

  • Helping the Talent Acquisition Manager to source and recruit candidates in the languages services industry.

  • Helping the Talent Acquisition Manager to prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate freelance platforms.

  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications, and conduct interviews when appropriate.

  • Negotiate rates to fit the company’s budget for upcoming projects.

  • Promptly onboard new talents on our vendor portal.
