Freelance Multilingual Research Assistant

We are looking to build a network of experienced bilingual research assistants for future project needs. The services we may need include: fieldwork support, coding, and other services.

Research support: includes fieldwork coordination, coding of open ended responses, scheduling of interviews, recruitment of participants, testing research tools, online community engagement/moderation.

Job Description

• Assist with selection of recruited participant based on defined criteria or project objectives

• Assist in the development of interview schedules; contact potential subjects to introduce and explain study objectives and protocol, and to arrange interviews

• Review project deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; follow up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected

• Coding of open-ended survey responses

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate should have;

• Basic computer data entry skills

• Proficiency in a second language (strongly desired)

• Basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research techniques and methods

• Experience with google workspace and Microsoft Suite

Requirements;

• High School Diploma

• Ideal for undergraduate or graduate students interested in the research field

• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
