We are seeking a highly motivated Budapest-based Finance Assistant / Finance Specialist to join their dynamic team to be part of the journey in the Renewable Energy Sector. Our client is building a strong and reliable team throughout Europe with professional individuals to grow and be BIG together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the accounting cycle of all group companies.
• Supporting oversight of bank accounts and payments for group entities.
• Assisting in quarterly financial closures for the group.
• Maintaining financial records and preparing documentation for audits.
• Participating in budget preparation exercises.
• Conducting intercompany reconciliations and managing loans.
• Collaborating with local teams and external service providers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a finance-related role (e.g., finance assistant, financial analyst).
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and proven track record of accuracy.
• Fluency in English (both oral and written).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector (RES) or construction is advantageous.
• CPA certification or progress towards certification is preferred.
