About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Load Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently planning and coordinating truck loads, tracking vehicle movements, and ensuring seamless communication between operations and management. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load Planning & Trip Coordination: Strategically plan and allocate loads to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Fleet Monitoring: Track truck movements in real-time to ensure on-time deliveries and operational efficiency.
  • Fuel Consumption Oversight: Monitor fuel usage and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities in fuel expenditure.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to load planning, fuel usage, and fleet performance.
  • Communication & Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact between drivers, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compliance & Optimization: Ensure all trips are planned in accordance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve any logistical challenges or unexpected operational issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in load planning, fleet coordination, or logistics (preferably within the mining, quarry, or civils sector).
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in relevant industry software.
  • Experience in fuel monitoring and expenditure analysis is advantageous.
  • A valid drivers license is preferred.
