What You'll Do:
In this full-time role, you'll take on key responsibilities, including:
- Responding to client requests, keeping their objectives front and center while ensuring timely service.
- Conducting area measurements, building surveys, lease plans, boundary surveys, and topographical surveys.
- Mapping underground utilities, performing 3D laser scanning, and recording cultural heritage.
- Handling planning consultations and documenting survey results (shape, contour, elevation, etc.), ensuring data accuracy.
- Calculating terrain features heights, depths, property lines and preparing or overseeing data, charts, maps, and records.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, clients, and project teams to align efforts.
- Analyzing survey objectives to craft proposals and coordinating land surveying with other design disciplines (e.g., architects, engineers, project managers, contractors).
- Managing documentation, data collection, and metadata compilation.
What You Bring:
- A Land Surveying diploma, Civil Engineering Certificate, or equivalent/higher qualification.
- Proven experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on complex, large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Earth, Autodesk, Pix4D, Agisoft, DJI, and Leica tools.
- Expertise in land, engineering, and property surveying, capturing and verifying detailed survey data.
- Experience with cultural heritage surveys (e.g., underground cavities like shelters or tombs) meeting archaeological standards.
- Skills in drone piloting, photogrammetry, and 3D laser scanning.
- Deep knowledge of construction industry standards, legislation, and practices (especially in Malta).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A valid driving license (preferred).
- Ability to thrive under pressure, collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting, and stay organized with keen attention to detail.
- Analytical decision-making skills, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to explain technical concepts clearly.
